Here is a Pug that I drew for Becca’s Birthday card this year. I think she liked it.
It’s been a while since I posted, so I thought I’d do a quick sketch and colour experiment. Colour has never really been my strong suit, so I was just playing around with this one. Next time I’m going to try the line work with a different pen as I don’t feel I am getting enough variance in line width. This one is a doodle of my girlfriend Rebecca. She has been asking me to do for one for a while and I finally got around to it. Hope you enjoy!
I sketched a really quick Jon Snow tonight. It is the first thing I have properly drawn in ages. I’ve been a bit lost and down in the dumps with my drawings for the past 6 months or so, so I have been taking a break. Tonight is the first time in a while I have actually wanted to draw again. It’s not very good, but hopefully it is the start of more! I need the practice!
There has been a DrawHellboy hashtag flying around Twitter of late. I did a couple of sketches here, but nothing up to standard. Gonna post them here anyway.
This is a pretty late post, but I wanted to put up some of the drawings I did when taking part in 2011’s Movember. I’m a pretty rubbish ‘tasche drawer, so instead I drew a different video game character everyday sporting a mo. I managed to raise £100 by the end, so I’d say it was pretty successful! Here are some of my favourites.
Just a little something I’ve been working on today. I’d seen a few illustrators I follow on Twitter giving their renditions of The Joker from Batman. I thought I’d have a go myself, but with a Political twist. I normally stay away from politics and such when I am drawing, but I couldn’t resist when I thought of this one. Enjoy.
Here is the brilliant Inspector Cumulus, designed by Jonathan Edwards and produced by Crazy Label. I did my rendition a while back, but never got around to finishing it off. It was around the time that there was a lot of hype about Thor being released, so I put two and two together and got this! Obviously the Inspector was worthy, because here he is with the power of Thor.
You can find Inspector Cumulus over here at Jonathan Edwards website, along with his many other crazy creations.
